When did Kochi became my second home over night???
The sole reason being Fort Kochi.
Sorry Jazz! Huh because you thought you stay there? Hahahaha!!
But yes thanks for introducing this place to me. Love Love for that ;) And my mind still hover's how I wish to settle in Kerala. But only if my house was over looking that Arabian Sea & Laccadive Sea. Hahahah....!!
Why should you visit Fort Kochi
Settlement of Dutch and Portuguese white washed & colorful houses
For the beautiful streets lined with even more beautiful cafes
To see old churches and cemeteries
For the new upcoming artist scenes
To see the Kathakali, Kalaripayattu performances
And dirt cheap places to stay as a solo traveler around the best sight seeing
The recent trip of mine consisted of staying with locals and trying out food in local cafe's.
And after so long time, I could do my favorite thing - Covering Fort Kochi town on foot. Yayyyy!!! Just pick up your map from Kochi airport, the office is on right side at arrival, or simply download the map.
