Backpacker's morning. All set for tent camping at world's archaeological site.
Other night we took late night bus from Bengaluru to Hospet.
We reached Hospet which is 15 km from Hampi next morning around 06 am. We weren't that much tired as we had good enough sleep on our sleeper bus.
We treated auto rickshaw guy with 200 bucks and we reached Hampi from Hospet in 20 minutes.
Hampi is very small town. So simple and easy to figure out once you go there. No need of doing anything in advance.
Once you enter Hampi, first thing you will see is "Virupaksha Temple" - The famous Hampi temple which is on left side of the river.
We preferred to rather put down our luggage somewhere and then explore the temple and other places. So we took 10 bucks boat to other side of the river as we knew in advance that "don't stay on the left side of the river as nothing much to do there plus it will be expensive".
The river was like 50 meters. As soon as you are on the other side of the river, the guest houses starts. Price range is 300 to 600 bucks.
We thought of renting the bike first and then hunt of the guesthouses. We took 2 bikes on rent for like 300 bucks each and we headed to roads. Not even 1 km far, we found our place to be after bargaining the price. And there we were.
We were all set to explore HAMPPIIIIIIIIIIII!!
